Floyd suitcases are made of 100% pure polycarbonate by Makrolon®. Polycarbonate is an essential component used in the production of body armor and bulletproof glass. It´s lightweight but highly durable, and its chemical structure allows it to absorb an incredible amount of force. The lining is a poly satin fabric made of recycled polyester. All Floyd cases are built using aluminum frame construction and an integrated 3-digit TSA lock to allow easy access–no more snagged and broken zippers while traveling! And of course, all Floyd cases feature our unique 360° skateboard spinner wheels, made of premium 85 duro polyurethane with smooth-rolling ABEC-7 metal ball bearings.

Each Floyd has its advantages and each journey is unique! Here are our recommendations: for a two-day trip, the Floyd Junior is the perfect companion. It holds 31 liters and has space for two full outfits. The Floyd Cabin is slightly bigger than the Junior. With a capacity of 41 liters, the Cabin fits four outfits and can hold everything you need for a long weekend or three-day sojourn. Both the Junior and the Cabin fit perfectly in the overhead bins of all major airlines. Please check your airline’s luggage restrictions for complete details. For longer trips, the Floyd Check-In is the way to go. A packing volume of 61 liters gives you room for eight full outfits–or around ten days of travel. Need even more capacity without adding bulk? Check out the Floyd Bold! The Bold’s slim profile is a life-saver in small hotel rooms. But with an 87 liter capacity, it still fits up to 10 outfits–enough for trips of up to two weeks. For truly epic getaways, The Floyd Trunk will be your new best friend. With a huge capacity of 95 liters and space for 12 outfits, the Trunk carries everything you need for journeys of two weeks or more. Just don’t get lost in there! Once you place an order you will receive a confirmation mail including a download link for your invoice. As soon as your shipment leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with a tracking number that will allow you to check your delivery status online.

Your package will leave our warehouse 1-2 business days after your order is received. In Germany, the European Union and Switzerland, you can expect delivery in 2-4 business days. Shipments to the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom will take around 4-5 business days to arrive. Please note that in some circumstances, customs clearance may require additional time.

We currently offer standard and express delivery within Germany. U.S. orders are shipped with UPS express saver. Orders to all other countries are shipped by standard delivery.

For shipments to the United States and the United Kingdom, all duties, import and government charges are included in the final checkout price. There will be no extra charges. Please note that this does not apply to other countries outside the European Union (i.e. Canada, Switzerland and Norway). If you are ordering from one of these countries, you will receive a separate email from the courier (UPS, FedEx, DHL) including the tax and duty.

We currently ship to addresses within Europe (incl. United Kingdom), the United States and Canada. However, many of our international operating partners offer worldwide shipping. Floyd provides a two-year warranty for all products, valid from the date of purchase. The warranty covers all functional aspects of your Floyd luggage. The warranty does not apply to cosmetic wear and tear, misuse or abuse, or damage caused by negligence or accident caused by any third party particularly flight or transport damage.

To make a warranty claim, just send an email to support@floyd.one or submit your claim online. You will need to provide proof of purchase (online order number, shop receipt), and any pictures detailing the warranty issue that can help us to expedite the process. Once your claim is submitted, we will contact you to let you know your claim is in review.

Floyd's warranty covers all functional aspects of your Floyd suitcase. The warranty does not apply to cosmetic wear and tear, misuse or abuse, or damage caused by negligence or accident caused by any third party–particularly flight or transport damage. However, your carrier is insured against damage to your baggage. We highly recommend inspecting your Floyd suitcase on arrival at your destination and reporting any damage to your carrier right away.

You can easily swap out the skateboard wheels on your Floyd using the special tool that comes with every Floyd suitcase. You can buy extra sets of our smooth-rolling premium 85 duro polyurethane wheels in a range of funky colors at floyd.one.

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a customized wheel service, but every Floyd comes with a special tool that makes it easy to swap out the wheels yourself. Additional Floyd wheels are available in our online store as sets of 8. GO 4 IT!

Here’s how to set your TSA combination lock in just a few steps.

To ensure your Floyd remains in fine condition for years to come, follow these simple care recommendations: Always store your Floyd in the included duster to keep the color fresh. To remove dust or dirt, use a damp cloth or non-abrasive sponge with clear water. Stubborn or sticky residue can be safely removed using a simple alcohol, such as Isopropyl. Avoid using any of the following as they will damage your Floyd: scouring detergents, abrasive cloths or sponges, window cleaning agents, aggressive alcohols, petroleum distillates or nail polish remover. Deep dents and scratches cannot be removed. But they also form the patina that gives your Floyd the unique character of your travels. We say embrace them. After all, they make your Floyd one of a kind!

There is no safe way to open your Floyd’s TSA lock without the three-digit code. You will be able to open the suitcase with a TSA key, but you won´t be able to use it to reset the lock. We recommend taking a deep breath and starting with 0-0-1. It will take around 20 minutes maximum to try every combination and find your code. Trust us, we’ve been there!

All Floyd products come with a beautiful drawstring duster made of recycled poly satin in our signature hot orange. The dusters are not meant to protect your Floyd while traveling, but they are great for keeping your Floyd fresh and nick-free when storing at home. The smaller drawstring dusters can also be used as laundry bags or organizer kits for your suitcase. Whatever you want them to be!

You are entitled to return all products from the Floyd online shop within 14 days of the date of delivery. Products should be returned unused, undamaged and packed in their original packaging. We offer free returns for countries within the European Union. Refunds will process about 3-5 business days from the date our warehouse receives your item. If you live in Germany, please download the shipping label under the Return tab. If you live outside of Germany but within the European Union, please contact us by email (support@floyd.one).
