No panic - it happens to the best of us. There’s no safe shortcut to open the lock without the code, and while a TSA key can open the lock it won’t let you reset the combo. Here’s what to do:

• Take a deep breath and start trying codes (a common first try is 001).
• If you go through the combos in order (000 → 001 → 002 …) you’ll get through all 1,000 possibilities in about 20 minutes max - boring, but effective.
• Don’t force or damage the lock. If something feels stuck, stop and get help.

Other options:

• If you’re at the airport, talk to the airline or TSA staff - they can sometimes help.
• If the lock won’t open, email us at support@floyd.one - we’ll help you get it opened without damaging your case.

• Storage: Always store your Floyd in the included dust bag to help maintain its color.
• Cleaning: Wipe off dust or dirt with a damp cloth or a magic eraser. For sticky spots, a small amount of rubbing alcohol (such as isopropyl) works well.
• What to avoid: Do not use scouring detergents, abrasive cloths or sponges, window cleaners, strong alcohols, petroleum distillates, or nail polish remover, as they can damage your suitcase.

Every Floyd comes with a bright orange drawstring dust bag made from recycled poly satin. While it’s not intended to protect your Floyd during travel, it’s perfect for keeping your suitcase clean and scratch-free at home.

The smaller dust bags are versatile as well - they can be used as laundry bags or small organizers inside your suitcase. You can use them however works best for you.

Making a warranty claim is simple. Email us at support@floyd.one or submit your claim online. Please provide proof of purchase (online order number or shop receipt) and any photos showing the issue to help us expedite the process. Once your claim is submitted, we will contact you to confirm that it is under review.

Floyd’s lifetime warranty covers all functional aspects of your suitcase. It doesn’t cover cosmetic wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by third parties - like airlines.

Good news: your airline is insured for baggage damage. We highly recommend checking your Floyd as soon as you arrive and reporting any damage to your carrier right away. That way, you can get it sorted as fast as possible.

Floyd comes with a lifetime warranty covering any functional damage that occurs during normal use. In other words, if something breaks that shouldn’t, we’ll take care of it.

This warranty does not cover everyday wear and tear, such as scratches or dents, or damage resulting from misuse, rough handling, or third parties, such as airlines.

If a warranty issue arises, we will repair or replace the affected part - or the entire suitcase if necessary - at no cost to you. Shipping is usually covered as well. All we require is proof of purchase, such as your receipt or invoice.

Once you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to download your invoice. As soon as your package leaves our warehouse, we’ll send you another email with a tracking number so you can follow your delivery every step of the way.
